Mountain Pose

Mountain Pose

Mountain is a common starting position for standing yoga postures. Stand with the bases of your feet hip width apart (big toes touching and heels apart is optional). Lift and spread your toes and the balls of your feet, then lay them softly down on the floor. Standstill, with your weight balanced evenly on the feet, arms hanging to the sides and soft eyes gazing forward.
